This guide is written to be as simple as possible for someone with no programming experience. The main steps are

1. Download the template
2. Make changes to fit your own domain and preview on your computer
3. Host it on Github
4. Direct your .box domain to show this page

1. Download the template

Changing Images: Navigate to the "images" folder and replace the 1.jpg file with the image of your choice

Open index.html using the notepad app

You can view the changes and how it looks by opening index.html in Chrome browser

3. Host it on Github

• Now that you have made the changes you want, let’s get it online. Create a new Free account in https://github.com/ 
• Once you have logged into your account, Create a new Repository in your github account

Ensure your repository name matches your GitHub username. For example, if your GitHub username is "mali-121," name your repository "mali-121.github.io." This will serve as your website's URL, as GitHub requires the repository name to be in the format "username.github.io."

After entering the name, scroll down, choose "Public" for repository visibility, and select the "Readme" option. Once both options are checked, proceed to create the repository.

• Once you have made the repository it will look like this. Click on add file and then click on [Upload files].

Find your folder where you made your site earlier and drag to upload

Once the files are uploaded it will look like this and you will be able to see all the files.

Scroll down to the commit changes part

• Write “My first .box site and then click on “Commit changes”

It will show this window while the files are being committed

After this you can go back to you repository and it should look like this

Then you can simply input your URL (i.e username.github.io) on the browser and your website will be there.

4. Direct your .box domain to show this page

Now that your site is live for username.github.io, we just need to mirror your .box domain to this site

1. Login and connect your wallet to my.box
2. Choose the .box site you want
3. Change the @ ALIAS to “username.github.io”

After updating DNS settings at my.box,

1. Return to your Github repository,
2. go to "Settings," and
3. select "Pages" in the code and automation section.
4. Scroll down to the “Custom domain” section,
5. Insert your custom domain, and save. It may take some time for changes to reflect, and messages will be displayed. Note that DNS propagation to your site may take more than 24 hours in some cases.

This message will be shown once everything is correct. Now try to go to your .box domain and your site should be live!
