3000 most common words in the English language for ENS Domains

so-called, appointment, department, grandfather

3000 most common words in English  - With 2,500 to 3,000 words, you can understand 90% of everyday English conversations, English newspaper and magazine articles, and English used in the workplace.

Single words are the most valuable domains. If you have a two word combination, the number of buyers drastically reduces. Think of Shoes vs sport shoes. The market for shoes is much bigger. If someone wanted sportshoes but that is taken, they could try speedshoes, fancyshoes, greatshoes. But there will always be only one shoes.

As of writing, all 3000 words are taken except "so-called" which I guess is more of a two word name. It also has a hypen which breaks the single word rule.

However let's look at something new. Just Expired Names. These are appointment, department, grandfather. These are available and the price is dropping and they just might drop to $5.

Just Expired ENS are ENSes that are not renewed after the 90 days grace period can be bought at a premium. Premium starts at $2,000 and reduces over 28 days until the premium is gone.

These can be a good deal in a few more days and will be quickly snapped up I think.

Oh yes, there there is a helpful page on DNS that are going to expire here: https://ens.me/domains/
